I wonder why???

Most questions in life are unexplained. I relish speculating on certain such matters, but haven’t been able to figure out why such things happen. Yet, they continue to occur in our lives- day in and day out. I wonder why?

There is nothing appealing on the television when you are free.

There is something very tempting, exciting and fascinating on television when you HAVE to study for your exams tomorrow.

There is a thrilling cricket match on the tv, it’s the last ball- you are biting your nails sitting on the edge of your seat- the power goes off.
There’s more to it- the power comes back on and you find out that India just lost the match.

It rains heavily on the day you have forgotten your umbrella at home.

Unexpected guests are sure to come home when you haven’t bothered to comb your hair or wash your face since morning.

The power goes off when you want to use the microwave oven the most.
The power comes back on the moment you’ve finished gobbling up cold food and put the plate into the sink.

Guests come home when you want to watch a movie/ you just ate the last morsel of food available.

You somehow manage to sleep/not wake up on time when you HAVE to complete studying for your exams.

Your pen stops writing when you have two minutes to give up your answer sheet and the invigilator gives you a wicked smile.

You have selective amnesia when you walk into the examiner’s room for viva.

You always remember the right answers to the baffling questions once you walk out of the exam hall.

You dream about holidays during the exams and repent about not having studied enough in the holidays.

This one is my favourite- when you are with someone you don’t want to be seen with – you are surely noticed by somebody.

If any of you know the answers to these questions – please let me know.

Calvin:"You know sometimes my lucky space ship underpants also don't work."

Hobbes:"Well, you have done all that you could."

:) Just have to take it in your stride i guess. My addition is that you meet cute guys on bad hair days!

ha ha ..this one funny, esp the hungry guests thing ! yeah most of the questions can be answered by saying that -its because of the mangalore factor ! guests coming in, power going off, rains etc...here in bombay guests call up months in advance before they turn up , even neighbours call up if they are coming for a casual chat ! Its ridiculous ! the exam thing is so true yaar !!! and also the tv one, i always have somehting exciting to watch when i cant !
